JFBConnect v2.6, the powerful Facebook Connect extension for Joomla, has just been released. This version adds Kunena integration to complement the current JomSocial and Community Builder abilities. Now, your Kunena profiles can be automatically filled in with a user's Facebook profile fields. After over a year of development, version 2.6.0 brings the 2.x branch to a close. With the recent announcement from Facebook of their new and improved Facebook Graph API, we're now beginning our focus on the 3.0 revision of JFBConnect. The new Graph API is extremely exciting as the API is cleaner, easier to use, and much more feature-rich. We'll be ensuring that while we re-architect the next version of JFBConnect, backward compatibility (so your users won't even notice the switch when the time comes) will be of utmost importance.
Please know that we are dedicated to continue bringing you a stable product. Any bug-fixes and any critical issues that may arise in 2.6.0 will be fixed in future 2.6.x point releases.
