Logout button location and Welcome message

Hi,

I am new to Joomla and found your sclogin module.
So far it has been excellent and adds a very professional login solution.

However I don't seem to be able to alter the logout button location or the welcome text.

As per other posts on the forum I have added the following code:
.sclogin-greeting, f.sclogout-button {float: right; }

and tried variations of left, right and also which sequence I list the greeting and button.
However I never seem to be able to get the sequence right and the button usually shows on the very left whilst the greeting shows on the very right.

What I am looking for is the following:
Welcome David LOGOUT
with this on the right hand side of the module position selected.

Would like to also remove the comma after the user name.

I feel I am missing something obvious being new to all this so any help would be appreciated.
