Remember Me is shown on 2nd row following the 1st row -- username and password. .
If I don't want Remember Me to take much space on my page, how can I remove it or hide it? anyway?
The Remember Me field is a part of Joomla and is displayed when you have the System - Remember Me plugin enabled. If you don't want that feature, disable that plugin.
