hi,

i have a question about how to implement the user dropdown menu in the sclogin module (i have version 3.0.3). i am using joomla 3.1 and the protostar template, and the only thing i have been able to do is activate the sc login module in position 7 on the page. it just says "log in" and "register". i'd like a user to be able to see his account info/change password once logged in. i have gone into the sc login module in joomla's backend but don't see anywhere to specify a menu item to display. am i looking in the wrong place? (i had created another menu called user menu with "change password" as a menu item.) the only way my user can change his password is if i activate yet another module where he can do this. ideally, i'd like it to be in the same module as sclogin, like in your screenshot at the bottom of this page: www.sourcecoast.com/sclogin/features/user-menu-dropdown. i looked all over for documentation on sclogin, but only found the changelog.

thank you for any assistance you can provide.

In the "Logout View Settings" parameters section of the module there's an option for "Show User Menu". You should just need to set that to any menu you've created.

If that isn't working, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Betsy,
Glad to hear we could help and that it worked how you wanted it to. Should you need anything else, you know where to find us.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for SCLogin, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks, and good luck,
Alex
