I am trying to figure out what file changes the button text for the module. I have checked the module files, as well as sourcecoast files, and I just cannot find it. For instance, I want to change the text "Register" to "Sign Up." Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks!

The text in the SCLogin module is defined in the language files. So look in /languages/<language_code>/<language_code>.mod_sclogin.ini file. The "Register" link is defined by the MOD_SCLOGIN_REGISTER_FOR_THIS_SITE key.
