Hi we have JFBC installed, and use the SCLogin module.

In the config it says, if social profile picture is not available it can use one from any other 3rd party avatar extension

Do you have a list of your preferred choices, or any that you would recommend or know work with JFBC/SCLogin?

Once the 3rd party extension is installed, is there any code change needed in order to get SCLogin to display it?

There's many 3rd party extensions we integrate with that can show a user's profile and avatar. In no particular order, they are:
Community extensions:
* JomSocial
* EasySocial
* Community Builder

Forums
* Kunena

Shopping Carts
* Virtuemart

Other
* Alpha User Points
* K2

As you can see, there's a variety to choose from. It really depends on what other features you want to have on your site that come with each of the extensions above. JFBConnect will integrate with all of them and it shouldn't be much trouble to set that integration up once you know the extension you're working with.
