Hello we're having problems with the sc login form in the website reachable at this url

super-frequently users are redirected to the joomla login ( this page )that doesn't have the social connection features that i need from your component.
when a user logs in through the joomla login form the are redirected to the joomla-edit-profile page, that i really don't need to show to my users (they have the jomsocial panel for the profile-editing).

wainting for a reply, all the best

super-frequently users are redirected to the joomla login ( this page )that doesn't have the social connection features that i need from your component.

In the JFBConnect backend > Configuration > General area, please try enabling the 'Integrate into Joomla Login' option. When enabled, the social network login buttons will be shown in the Joomla users component ( the page you listed ).

when a user logs in through the joomla login form the are redirected to the joomla-edit-profile page, that i really don't need to show to my users (they have the jomsocial panel for the profile-editing).

If you set the 'New User Redirection' and the 'Returning User Redirection' options in the the same configuration area, you can specify where the user will be redirected when creating a new user or subsequently logging in on a return trip.

I think these three settings will help you accomplish what you want, but let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks a lot Melissa,
the problem of the integration of the fb-login in the joomla component is gone! :) and with him also the redirection for new users and for registred users

but i still don't understand why if the username and the password are right really often users have problems with the credentials, basically they have to put them again until the website decide to let them in. that's a problem that we need to solve as soon as possible, do you have an idea of what can kill this issue?

Can you try enabling the standard mod_login (Joomla login module) to see if the same problems occur with standard Joomla credentials? The SCLogin module uses Joomla's core authentication system for standard username/password credentials and we don't treat them any different than Joomla does.

The only other thing I can recommend is to try disabling caching to see if that helps. Specifcally (in this order):
* Caching in the SCLogin module
* Page Cache (or System - Cache) plugin
* Global Configuration - Caching
Try disabling them one-by-one to see if any helps and let us know your results!

Thanks,
Alex
