Hi Alex i have tried ¨¨¨¨¨You can set the SCLogin module's "Registration Component" to Kunena to have them register using the Kunena flow. K2,¨¨¨¨¨ but in vain i could not see K2 there and also on the SCl configuration i could not see K2 as well. I have attached the images.

Please you have my login detail i was expecting you to help instead of sending to what i dont even have a clue. Right now frustration on the rooftop given the time number of days it takes just to sort out AVATAR. Honestly thats why people like me come to your product because its attached with support.

Time is not on my side and getting a lot headache from others about this issue so please help me out on these two.

1. To enable the site to launch is there a way that we can deactivate the manual registration and leave the JFBConnect (urgent)

2. The main issue again Please understand i just want the avatars of the manually registered users to show on both Kunena and K2. I will be grateful if you adjust the settings for me and then post an explanation to save both our times and to make this thread short and conclusive as opposed going back and forth.

I appreciate your work and do value your support but i have people behind me who just don`t even know what an avatar is all they want is the site to launch.

Kind regards

The Registration Component setting you're looking for is in the SCLogin module. Again, there will only be an option for "Kunena" in there, and not K2. Kunena does have its own registration page that can be used. K2 does not. It modifies the standard Joomla registration page.

As far as I know, there isn't a way to have a user upload an avatar once and have it work in both K2 and Kunena when registering that way. JFBConnect will separately save the avatar for both Kunena and K2, which means they are each showing their own copy of the image.

As mentioned before, JFBConnect doesn't have any control over the 'standard' registration process. Our SCLogin module will simply redirect the user to the component that is selected in the "Registration Component" setting: Joomla's standard registration page, Kunena, or one of the others we support.

1. To enable the site to launch is there a way that we can deactivate the manual registration and leave the JFBConnect (urgent)

Sure. Go to the Joomla -> User Manager. Click "Options" in the top right. Set "Allow User Registration" to "No". That will disable standard registrations, but JFBConnect will be unaffected.

2. The main issue again Please understand i just want the avatars of the manually registered users to show on both Kunena and K2. I will be grateful if you adjust the settings for me and then post an explanation to save both our times and to make this thread short and conclusive as opposed going back and forth.

See the above explanation. JFBConnect doesn't control the manual registration process at all. We simply redirect the user to whatever manual registration flow from another extension that you want them to use.

I have done that, so now how can i create a frontend module or menu that can be guide users to register using SCLogin?

Thanks Alex

The SCLogin is a module you can place on any page of your site. It will show the user the social login buttons as you're looking for.

Another option is to create a "Welcome" article in Joomla. Inside that article, explain to the users why they should login and simply add the following tag in the article:
{JFBCLogin}
That tag will be replaced with the social login buttons you've enabled so that the user can easily login.

The tag can also be updated to show just a few select social networks or even some custom images for each of the networks. If you need more information on those features, just let me know.

I hope that helps,
Alex
