When I enable the Sendy Subscription Module, I get this error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JUserHelper

Otherwise everything is working well with Sendy. I can use the subscribe form Sendy creates. I have one userlist.

The SCLogin module is working well, and new users from are being added to the correct Sendy list.

Is there more details in the error message you are getting? Specifically, a file name or line number that the error is occurring on? If so, please post the full error message (feel free to remove any sensitive path information if you'd prefer).

We don't directly call or create the JUserHelper class that you mention, so I'm not sure where that error is coming from.. and no one else has reported this issue.

Finally, what version of Joomla are you using?

Thanks,
Alex

Can you double check that file path? It seems like something is missing. There shouldn't be a helper.php file in the root directory of your Joomla site. Not sure what's going on, but we'll gladly help however we can.

Can you also explain "This appears when I enable the sendy plugin from JFB " What are you enabling that causes the problem?

Thanks,
Alex

I renamed the helper.php file in my root dir, (added -backup to the file) since you said it wasn't necessary. After changing the name of the file, the page loaded correctly. I guess I can delete it. It must have been left over from a previous install of Joomla. Thanks very much for your help! Great support and products!

No problem. I'm glad to hear we could help. If you need anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for the SCLogin module, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:
