The 404 error says component not found. Now I cannot even login to my site by using the Joomla login..unless I refresh, and then I randomly am able to access. Now when I logout it's a 404 error.

I don't know what to say...this is beyond my technical capability. As mentioned earlier, I urgently need to get this working as it is designed.

Can you explain a lot more as to what's not working? I just tried, and it logged me in just fine. There were many, many PHP warning messages, like shown originally in your post. However, none of them looked to be coming from JFBConnect. I'd suggest setting Error Reporting to "None" in the Joomla Global Configuration area to suppress those.

For the logout issue, there's something wrong on your site that is unrelated to JFBConnect. Regardless of how I login (using the SCLogin module or 'normally' through the Joomla login), if I go to the *standard* Joomla logout URL below and try to logout, I can't logout there either:
vombudsman.com/index.php?option=com_users&view=login
There is a continuous redirection loop and Itemid=1 is being inserted in the URL as well.

Something in your configuration is performing extra redirections, and I'm not sure what it is. I'd recommend disabling SEF URLs and turning off caching to start with. I'm not sure what the actual cause is though.

I hope that helps. Until the 'standard' Joomla logout functionality works, I'm confident the SCLogin functionality won't work either. Of course, you can disable the SCLogin module and JFBCSystem plugins to see if that makes things work (eliminating them from your site), but I don't think they will have any effect.

Thanks,
Alex

So now I login...it redirects me to a page...one of the directories. It shows I'm logged in. When I go to the 'home' page, I get logged out. This is crazy. The last release was so smooth...I don't know what's going on. Even when I set the redirect to another page, it still redirects me to something different then in the settings. I also reached over to jreviews and asked them to take a look...they could find nothing wrong with their system, and others are not reporting a similar problem. I have not modified *any* core files. None. Not a single one, so it should be working.

I just got into your admin area, and here are the likely causes for most of your issues:
* System - Cache. This plugin is enabled, which should be fine. However, you also have the "Enable Browser Caching" setting enabled. You should not enable that setting on any site that allows for login/authentication, regardless of whether it's through JFBConnect or Joomla. The browser caching setting will tell the browser to load a previous copy of a page when a user navigates to it and won't actually be loading it from your site. That means if a user visits the home page when not logged in, and login from a different page and return to the home page, the 'original' non-logged in version will show.
Disable the System - Cache plugin altogether, or at least disable the browser caching option. After that you will *need* to close your browser and restart it and may need to clear it's cache completely.

* JomSocial - Redirect plugin is enabled. This plugin tries to perform redirects after the user logs in, and can prevent our normal redirections from occuring. Please either a) make sure you have this configured exactly how you want or b) disable it.

I hope that helps get you going. None of these are new issues with JFBConnect.

Thanks,
Alex

No problem! Glad we could help nail things down for you.. and even more happy the issues weren't directly caused by JFBConnect or the new release.

Either way, should you run into anything else or need more assistance, just let us know!

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
