It's something we are looking into. So far, it looks like LinkedIn actually follows the redirection, which is annoying. Not sure if there's a way to let LinkedIn bypass the authentication or have them scan the page properly.
We'll definitely know what we find, but it's not documented at all on LinkedIn's end, so it's trial and error. Going to post in their support area soon though after we do a little more debugging/testing to have a more fleshed out questions.
