Facebook Event Integration

Sorry for the non-response. It is something we'd like to do, but haven't fully determined exactly how we want to do it. With our next major release (JFBConnect v5), due out late this year, we're planning to revise our plugin system and make it more flexible for any type of action with Facebook and Joomla extensions. Right now, our plugins are highly geared towards importing and updating profiles only.

With that release, we're hoping to expand a lot of the neat integrations we could do, as well as work with the 3rd party developers to drum up interest in them developing their own integration with Facebook using JFBConnect as a bridge. It will save time on both developers ends, and help the customer with the enhanced integration.

Events are an obvious integration between JomSocial and JFBConnect/Facebook, so I think it's one of the early things we'd investigate to do.. however, we haven't looked into how difficult it would be, so I can't make any estimates one when it would be implemented.

Hope that explains, even if it basically boils down to "not soon".
