Integrate JomSocial events with Facebook events

There isn't a way to do that with JFBConnect right now. It was something we were beginning to investigate earlier this year as a way to sync events between JomSocial and other extensions. Unfortunately, with Facebook's Graph API v2 announcement , they removed many of the ways to manage an event remotely.

Before that change, Facebook allowed creation and updating of events directly from your site. Now, all that can be done is the pulling of information about a specific event. It's something we're still looking into doing.. basically, you create the event in Facebook and then JFBConnect could import the details into JomSocial or simply display the event details anywhere in your site (even outside of JomSocial or without JomSocial).

We're planning to investigate and start implementing such a feature for later this year, but I don't have a firmer estimate off-hand.
