A couple of things. When I first registered, I saw the standard "You must activate your account" email. Also, under that though, there was an error message:

I'm not sure why that was showing, and may be something to investigate and test for.. but here's some other suggestions/questions.
Can you go to the Joomla -> Plugin Manager and make sure the Social Profiles - JomSocial plugin is enabled? That's what allows for JFBConnect profile import abilities into JomSocial. Once enabled, go to the JFBConnect -> Profiles area and configure the settings there. Of course, make sure that avatar and cover import are enabled, as well as any profile fields mapping that you want to setup.
Hopefully, that's all your missing, but if that stuff is already configured properly, let us know and we can start looking a little deeper.
