facebook connect issue

Can you explain a bit more about what's happening, I think we're talking about different things.

For me, everything works fine.

When you say "nothing happens", do you mean you click the blue "Facebook" button and absolutely nothing happens (no popup, no redirection, the page just sits there and nothing happens) or something else? From your last post, it sounds like you're at least seeing the popup since the first link you post is the popup login URL that should normally show.

One other thing to try is from a different Facebook user account if you haven't already.

And hovering the mouse around the button it show the homepage link:

Which button are you talking about here? The "Facebook" blue button in the bottom left of the JomSocial front-page area?

Hopefully we can help get things narrowed down, but for now, I just need to better understand what is, or isn't happening. We'll gladly help however we can, but again, things do seem to work for us.

Definitely let me know what you find about the Facebook issue. We'll gladly help wherever we can on that, but there's no other users reporting that issue, and we can't recreate it on your site. If it does seem specific to a browser, please check the add-on/extensions you have enabled in that browser. Some add-ons are meant to prevent some social network activity from taking place, and that could be what's causing your issues.

As for the string translation, all plugins use the language file from the admin area. Please edit the /administrator/language/en-GB/ file (or copy that to es-ES and edit there). The front-end language files are not used for plugins at all.
