Login each time I open the browser

When you close your browser and re-open it, can you try going to Facebook.com and see if you are logged in there already? If you aren't already logged into Facebook then you won't be able to automatically log you into your site with those credentials.

Generally though, what you describe is normal. When you quit the browser, all cookies and session data is removed. That means you have to re-authenticate to each site. The 'Automatically log Facebook users' in" option is only valid if you are already logged into Facebook.

That's normal. When you use the "Remember Me" option and a normal Joomla login, a cookie is created which can last through a browser closing.

Facebook however is much more strict about the cookies they generate and they will *not* last through a browser closing. The main reason for this is because many users will go to public places (libraries, internet cafes, etc) and Facebook doesn't want users to stay logged in under such scenarios.

There's no way to get around this in JFBConnect. However, if the user logs into Facebook first after re-opening the browser, they should be automatically logged into your site when they revisit as well.

Additionally, if the user logs out of Facebook and then visits your site, they won't be automatically logged into your site. It just makes sense... if the user isn't logged into Facebook, we can't log them into your site.
