The error message "[error processing this derective]" indicates a server configuration issue. It could be a permissions issue with some files, a .htaccess file that is incorrect, or something else. I'd recommend contacting your hosting provider to look at the server logs (Apache *and* PHP) to determine what that error message indicates.
Beyond that, for normal 'slow' login processing, we recommend:
* Disabling any social profile plugins you have enabled to determine if they are the cause of the delay
* Disable the Debug Mode setting in JFBConnect
* Enable the Caching setting in JFBConnect
Hopefully that helps get things going or narrow down the issues. If not, please let us know what times you are seeing for registration and login. A time of 10s for registration can be a little long, but isn't unheard of. We usually like to see a login take less than 5s. The timing is very dependent on the above options and your overall server speed for making outgoing connections to Facebook to retrieve user data.
