First, what social network are you authenticating with that is slow? Is there any specific one, or both Google and Facebook that are taking too long?
There are some optimizations to the authentication process that will be implemented in the upcoming release later in February. A 15 second authentication time is excessive though, and I wouldn't expect drastic improvements on that. Just to note though, when I load your site, it takes about 5-10 seconds to load. It's likely that your server is either slow for the amount of components/plugins/modules that are trying to be rendered or there is a server connectivity issue. Looking at Google's Page Speed Insights, it shows a response time of 4.7s:

If the page itself takes 5s to load, then an authentication of 10s wouldn't be unreasonable as that seems like it may be inline with the speed of your site.
I hope that helps explain, but if not, let us know more about how you're testing and we'll see how we can help.
Thanks,
Alex
