Hi.
I added the multilangue feature to my page, and I am using sh404sef. The urls obviouly change from mysite.com/section to mysite.com/es/section.
Thus, the PREVIOUSLY written fb comments to nod appear on the pages anymore. I gather this is the same issue than after migrarting from 1.5 to 1,7m but I am wondering. Is there a way to know to WHICH page is the comment (I can see them in the FB developers page) associated to?
Thanks!
Sofia

BTW, the comment module does NOT show on the english version of the site, not if I set up to english or all. It works ok on the spanish version. Any ideas?

Idiel,
Unfortunately, all Facebook Comments are associated with a URL. When you change that structure, the comments will still be associated with the 'old' URL, and there's no way to migrate them to the new one. A similar situation happens with search rankings for the old page, though there are ways to redirect from the old to the new that aren't possible with comments.

For seeing which pages the comments are associated with, if you're in the Comment Moderator Tool (developers.facebook.com/tools/comments), you can click on the Moderator View. Then, each comment will have a "View Website" link underneath which will show you the specific URL that is associated with the comment.

As for the comment module not showing in the English version, can you send a link to the page that they should be on? Once we have a look at the code on the page, we can usually diagnose those types of issues quickly.

Thanks,
Alex

hi, thanks for the detailed answer. I will try to make an image of the comments, some of there were really good and I do not want to loose them.
The url that has the problem (not showing the comment module is this, www.victoriamiller.cl/en/First-Season/1-ready.html) just lie that one, none of the english pages show the fb comments.
thanks!

Idiel,
Using Chrome on a Mac, I'm able to see the comment module at the bottom of that page. Can you try again with a different browser or close and clear the cache of the one you're using? That will help us to diagnose the problem, but from what we're seeing on the page and in the HTML, there's no reason the comment box shouldn't be showing.

Thanks,
Alex
