Speaking of which, on your page, for the Fanbox in the bottom right, that module is actually reloading the Facebook Javascript library again. While I don't think it's causing any conflicts, it can slow down the page load (it's an extra 112k file, plus whatever it includes and the JS processing required for it). You may want to try switching to the JFBCFan module in our bundle for a small speed boost on the page.

I would like to use it but the fan box i made was done with a local CSS file and as you can see i made it really pretty...while on your fan box there is no really an option to style it unless i am wrong...
this is your css: static.ak.fbcdn.net/rsrc.php/v1/yC/r/vSJ96PL2YpP.css on this page: www.coleinstruments.com/Info/about-cole-instruments.html
This is mine: www.coleinstruments.com/templates/jv_ase...likebox-style.css?23 on front page: www.coleinstruments.com/

Maybe you can help me to connect my css file to the fanbox module?

Unfortunately, we can't help you here. You're using the fb:fan tag, which has been deprecated by Facebook and replaced with the fb:like-box tag. While the fb:fan tag still works (and is much, much more configurable, we agree), we won't be implementing it simply because Facebook can remove, or change, it's functionality at any time.. and that's something that makes for angry users.. it's happened to us before.

I would recommend continuing to use it, because of the obvious advantages, but check on that section of your site frequently, just in case it breaks one day.

However, all is not lost with our recommendation above. You should be able to safely remove the call to load the Javascript file /templates/jv_asent/js/fb.js, which in turn, loads the Facebook Javascript library. JFBConnect already loads that code, so the script above is just duplicating it (and adding the extra code/time mentioned above).

Hope this helps, and good luck with your site!

Thanks, i was about to remove the JS to avoid the duplicate but was waiting for your answer in hope you will do some magic and implement it on your module :)
Anyway i removed the JS and now there is no duplication...this is a very informative thread that i am sure will help many.
BTW, i am satisfied from your component although i am using only the JFBconnect and not all the other modules. it is the main functionality that i was seeking and your component has fulfilled my needs very good so far :)
