Hello,
I've updated from Joomla 2.5 to 3.3. Instead of HOT login (which is not working properly) I have tried yours. It seemed fine, however, after log in I redirect to other page (probably the previously logged in). The cache is enabled in global conf (conservative) and in plugins. I don't see the issue when cache is disabled. I also compared with standard login form and haven't found the issue. That's why I'm writing here. (I already have a habit to write to all developers =) because each of the plugin or module or component is not working as it should :( ) Maybe it's not connected with SCLogin...
Thanks.

First, try with the System - Cache plugin disabled. That plugin can cause lots of random issues, and is why it's disabled by default on all Joomla installations. The Global Configuration caching setting will still provide some healthy caching benefits.

Once done, clear the Joomla cache and test again.

If that doesn't work, in the SClogin -> Advanced parameters area, there's another setting for Caching.. try disabling that, clearing cache and testing again.

Hopefully, one of those will help get you going. If so, we *may* be able to help you re-enable the caching that was causing problems, but we need to start somewhere.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alex,
Thanks for the reply. "SClogin -> Advanced parameters area" (no caching) did the trick. (probably you need to add a note about this in further releases)
I also tried to disable the plugin but it caused more problems (in global it's enabled). Each time after login, there was a blank page with "Invalid Token" error.
Hope now everything will be fine. Thanks for the module :)

The invalid token error is an issue with Joomla in general. The System - Cache plugin has an option for "Enable Browser Caching". That setting should not be enabled at all if your site allows logins. Browser caching will prevent pages from updating when a user has logged in.

Either way, I'm glad you got things going. If you need anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for SCLogin, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex

"Enable Browser Caching" - no, it's not enabled...
Ok, I'll write soon :)

Thanks for letting me know about your System - Cache settings. We'll have to look into why the SCLogin module caching had to be disabled. It should have a very minimal impact on performance, if any.

As always, if you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
