Hi,

I just bought JFBconnect and LinkedinConnect.

Jan,
We've honestly never used Hikashop, so I'm not sure what you mean by it's not working. JFBConnect and JLinked both create standard Joomla users. If Hikashop uses the normal Joomla user system, it should be able to recognize those users and you should still have the benefits of easier login and registration process. However, we don't have a profile plugin for Hikashop, which would allow profile information from Facebook (or LinkedIn) to be automatically imported into Hikashop.

If there was something specific you were looking for, or something that isn't working well (or is even broken), definitely let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I was able to place the button at the registration form... but when selecting login with Facebook (none of the fields are automatically filled in )
I don't understand how I get the address fields into the registration form when logging in with Linkedin or Facebook. All the fields are empty.

my site is : www.thejarfactory.com

Jan,
Right now, we don't have profile plugins available to automatically import or prefill those fields. The user's street address is never available, only the city, state and country. With the major releases expected later this year of both JFBConnect and JLinked, we're planning to overhaul our profile plugin system a bit. It's gotten a bit too complex recently and needs to be simplified. At that time, we'll be evaluating multiple different extensions for integration, and are planning to add a Hikashop profile plugin at that time. Until then though, profile information won't be able to be automatically populated into the user's Hikashop profile unless you're interested in digging into the code to make that happen.

Hope that explains,
Alex

Hello Alex,
You are talking about to change the code...
I don't know how much time will get into this... (I have no knowledge in programming)
But I could follow instructions or else I wait until the new plugin will be released for Hikashop.
In case I don't like to put more time in coding could I get my money back ?

Best regards
Jan

Jan,
If you're not a developer, I wouldn't really recommend trying to dive into the code to create a profile plugin for Hikashop. We won't be able to give you step-by-step instructions on how to create the plugin, we'd only be able to help you if you had questions. We're extremely busy with other tasks right now and can't take on a new unexpected development task. We are hoping to have a Hikashop plugin for importing profile information later this year though.

Until then, if you aren't satisfied with JFBConnect and it's other features, we always have a 30-day money back guarantee. If you'd like to take advantage of that, use the Refund Request link at the bottom of the page.

Thanks,
Alex
