We just had another user report a similar issue where the Google+ button wasn't showing. We realized he was using the Custom Image option (to select his own image for the button). I'm assuming you're doing the same thing.

If so, then there's a bug with our code. It's easy to fix and the instructions are in this post . I'm still not sure why you're saying the /media/sourcecoast/images/provider directory is empty, but hopefully, the solution linked to will fix your issue.

Thanks, and good luck,
Alex

Glad you got things going, and sorry for that minor bug.

boehoeeee the configuration is not good

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this. Is there something we should be improving, or just the Google API setup in general that was annoying?

Definite progress though, and good luck!
Alex

Hi, in the configuration I found that this; .apps.googleusercontent.com has to be gone after the numbers and then it all works. You did a good job so no complains!

Well for laptoprepareren.com all is fine now but for vivacomputers.nl not. I followed the same instructions in the post to adjust code but line 308 I don't have and looks different. Any suggestions?

I am getting tired. Now my site went blank......

I updated the lib library and then my site went blank....i uninstalled it and I get; Fatal error: Class 'SCSocialUtilities' not found in /home/vivaco1b/public_html/components/com_jlinked/libraries/linkedin.php on line 53

Edit: I reinstalled JLinked component and the site is back. Only still so far no Google button.

I'd recommend installing JLinked v2.2.0 and then installing JFBConnect v5.1.1. That should re-install everything and make sure you are fully up to date. The minor differences in the library shouldn't matter, but I understand wanting it to show correctly. The difference in library versions (and other little issues) is a reason we're excited to merge JLinked into JFBConnect later this year so we shouldn't have to deal with these types of problems going forward as well.

As for the 'No Google' button, can you tell me what's around line 308? That will help us determine what version your site seems to have installed and then we can determine what the heck is going on.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alzander,

On line 308 this is standing: $buttonHtml = '';
The site is working again. Yesterday I reinstalled JLinked and it came back again. Also the buttons work except from the Google button. I am sure it is a minor issue I think but then again programming is not my field hehehe.

Anyway thanks for the support!

It sounds like you're using SCLogin v3.1.0 instead of 3.1.1. The slightly older release is what's included with JLinked. To upgrade, you can download the newest release here or re-install JFBConnect v5.1.1 which already has it included. When you installed JLinked again, it downgraded the release back to v3.1.0.

We're excited to have a unified social network release in the future to not have to deal with these minor differences between the different releases.

If you don't want to upgrade, you can look at lines 275 and 314 for the same lines in v3.1.0. Again, these fixes will be in the upcoming bug-fix release, due out around mid-September.

Thanks,
Alex
