Hi,

How do I disable the standard Joomla login from showing?
SCLogin is working great, except when the username and password are input incorrectly, then the standard Joomla login shows. That is not what I want.

Thanks,
Dom

Unfortunately, that's not possible. The SCLogin module still hooks into the com_users component of Joomla to actually perform authentication. When an authentication failure happens, that component is in control and that's what redirects the user to the login page.

We get this question a bit, and understand why you want to use the SCLogin module only. However, many, many extensions will automatically redirect a user to the login page on their own. They don't know about the SCLogin module. Because of that, it's best to work on making the Joomla Login page look decently good as users will reach it somehow.. whether you want them too or not :)

I hope that helps explain, but if you need anything else, just let me know!

Thanks,
Alex

After I posted this I did find it in your FAQs. FYI - They would not open up in Chrome, but I was able to see the FAQ in Safari.

Thank you!

Unsure why they wouldn't open in Chrome for you. We just tested on a few different browsers and they expanded without issue. We'll keep looking to see if we're missing something.. but it's also Friday. The server may be tired... :D

Glad you got what you needed though. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions!

Thanks,
Alex
