My apologies if this has already been covered. I looked through the forums and did a search, but did not find anything that described how to implement SCLogin into a dropdown user menu like you have done here on your website. The only two places where I saw any info is in the documentation where it said

"Simply select a Joomla menu item to display and the SCLogin module will show it in a fabulous way" But I don't know how to do that. If I try to create a menu item, there is no option for the SCLogin Module.

In the Support forums, the question was posed how to create a login link as a menu item and one of your support specialists, Alex, said "There's not a way built into the SCLogin module can make it work from a menu item. However, I know some sites have plugins that can let it work. I honestly don't know how."

But, clearly there is a way because you are doing it on your own site. Any information about how to use this module as a dropdown user menu would be really appreciated.

Thank you. Todd

Todd,
The SCLogin module in our site is shown in a module position in the top right of our template. The option discussed above for showing a menu item is in the "Logout View Settings" of the module as the "Show User Menu" parameter. With the "Show User Menu", you can set a Joomla menu that you want to display to authenticated users.

Once that's setup, you may need to add appropriate styling to make the menu integrate into your site how you want, but getting the menu to display is the first step. I hope that helps get you going, but if you need anything else getting it to display or setting it in a proper module position, just let us know.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thanks Alex. I am still having a tough time getting it to work correctly. Can I just hire someone there to set this up for me?

Thank you.
