Just a question as I have just changed the image on one article to a JPG from a PNG  and in the debugger it displays ok but doesn't show on the FB page .

Definately something wrong, https://developers.facebook.com/tools/d … mingo-land

I have tried leaving the article before publishing because at first it just shows a link to the home page not the article. I then leave and try again hours later and it shows the article link but no image and thats as far as it gets

Any clues I am at a loss

It has always been ok, apart from a glitch now and again with images but sudenly it has stopped working.

Ran the auto tune and thats seems fine

Just an update it would appear that the error or fault was within an article and seens to be sorted now

That does help thanks

Wasn't sure from the docs if I got the default image format right? in JFBConnect: Open Graph - Settings

I have it set as follows

title=T&T Campsite Directory local=en_GB image=https://www.touringtenting.co.uk/img/Campsite_and_Caravan_Park_Directory.png

Is that ok?

Hadn't thought of doing that first, will give it a go

When I auto post to fb and twitter no images show, but they used to. When I run the debugger it looks ok

Any ideas?

Jreviews seem to think it has to do with the following as the images are big, just not sure where the width and height meta is coming from
<meta property="og:image:width" content="1" />
<meta property="og:image:height" content="1" />

Yep that makes sense but it can be a bit spammy if you edit a few in a row but I get what you say

Hi is there a setting for posting only new content? I seem to be posting content that has been edited as well

I wasn't really expecting a reply Melissa being the weekend so no worries.

I am not sure this is right but mine started working again when I forced the whole site to use https not the just login and admin area

OK Sorted, I think it was all to do with my SSL cert set up

I am sure it was working.

Any ideas where I can start looking, I did read about X-FRAME-OPTIONS but not sure where to start looking for that. I run a VPS on plesk

Hi, auto tune ran ok but getting the following errors on Social debug

Meta Tags Found (3 Errors and 0 Warnings Found)
Error    The twitter:card tag is not set for this page.
Error    The twitter:title tag is not set for this page.
Error    The twitter:description tag is not set for this page.

http://socialdebug.com/results?url=http … g.co.uk%2F

Is it meta tags I am missing

All good, resolved those two issues and working as it should

Thank you Melissa, I will work on that, and how to use firebug better

Hi I have set up the module to use the popup with Encrypt Login Form ticked.

In the component I have force SSL but when I click on the login the browser shows it as "not secure"

I have an active SSL cert but the main site runs on http. I just wanted the login/registration to use https:

Any ideas

Hi I have posted on the joomla forum as I suspect this is a joomla (or my own) problem but it is driving me nuts. I seemed to have had the problem at various times for years

I get "The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again." Refresh does nothing I have to fiddle around going to different pages until I get lucky.

I have the latest version of joomla, standard htaccess in google webmaster I have a preferred domain.

I have one login/logout module on every page

Cache is set to off although the cache plugin is active and I have jreviews cache

Any ideas?

Similar to this website. Is there documentation on how to do it?

Seems to be ok now I think it was my SSL cert

It did work, now gone back in and it is failing again?

Update it now seems to be working but the page tab/canvas on FB isn't

Hi thanks for that I have done as said but still have a problem.

The template comes as standard with the following

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="<?php echo $this->language; ?>" lang="<?php echo $this->language; ?>" dir="<?php echo $this->direction; ?>" >

<!--[if lt IE 7]> <html class="no-js lt-ie9 lt-ie8 lt-ie7" lang="en"> <![endif]-->
<!--[if IE 7]>    <html class="no-js lt-ie9 lt-ie8" lang="en"> <![endif]-->
<!--[if IE 8]>    <html class="no-js lt-ie9" lang="en"> <![endif]-->
<!--[if gt IE 8]><!--> <html class="no-js" lang="en"> <!--<![endif]-->

I have changed it to

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="<?php echo $this->language; ?>" lang="<?php echo $this->language; ?>" dir="<?php echo $this->direction; ?>" >

<!--[if IE 8]>    <html class="no-js lt-ie9" lang="en"> <![endif]-->

I am assuming I need both the above?

Test: JFBCSystem plugin is enabled
Fail: Not Detected! Please enable in the Site Config area of Autotune or in the Joomla plugin manager.

Site is online etc. The FB app needs updating I think but not sure if that would cause the problem.

The facebook tab though isn't working anymore.

Any ideas

In my previous template I had a login that opened in lightbox or similar. I have changed templates so that maybe a difference but is there a way to have it as a link or a menu item

Hi I have 3 upgrades showing as being needed but when I click on the links to download the updates I get No files were found

I have checked my subscription and that is ticked and says active. Any pointers
