1) Set the "Show Login Credentials in Popup" setting in the Facebook configuration area to 'No' - This uses a different authentication flow that does not require the Facebook Javascript library to be loaded.
=> This was already set, but still loading FB library

2) Manually remove the Facebook Javascript library...
=> I can't as users outside China need FB login

Hi

I have a site that target world users including China. Facebook and Google are blocked in China, and my site is loading very very slow in China because JFBConnect can not connect to FB and Google. See:
https://www.screencast.com/t/MjoEl5Ru39Z

Is there a way to disable JFBConnect from connecting to FB & Google when the user IP is from China? when my site loads, is it possible to move JFBConnect loading to the end  so that everything will be loading fast, and not blocked by it?

Hi

If my server is in China which the network blocks FB and google, can Jfbconnect still works for users outside China?

Hi

I am getting this from FB, how to set OAuth redirect URIs for JFBconnect?
https://www.screencast.com/t/slvOjegfC

In 35 days, we're making a security update to Facebook Login that will invalidate calls from URIs not listed in the Valid OAuth redirect URIs field of your Facebook Login settings.

This update comes in response to malicious activity we saw on our platform, and we want to protect your app or website by requiring a new strict mode for redirect URIs. Take action now to ensure your redirect traffic continues to work.

are you going to support it?

yes, your flow is correct. looking forward to it.

Wechat is China biggest social platform, and many china joomla users like me want social login integration for JFBConnect. Would you consider addding support?

unpublish and republish on frontend did not tigger auto post to FB after adding below code

public function onContentChangeState($context, $pks, $value)
    {
        if($context == 'com_content.article')
        {
            JModelLegacy::addIncludePath(JPATH_SITE . '/components/com_content/models');
            $contentModel = JModelLegacy::getInstance('Article', 'ContentModel');

            foreach($pks as $pk)
            {
                $article = $contentModel->getItem($pk);
                $this->tryAutoPublish($article, $value);
            }
        }
        else if($context=='com_jreviews.listing') { foreach($pks as $pk) { list($articleId, $alias)=array_pad(explode(':', $pk, 2), 2, ''); $this->db->setQuery("SELECT * FROM #__content WHERE id=" . $articleId); $article=$this->db->loadObject(); if($article) $this->tryAutoPublish($article, $value); } }

    }

yes, it works after adding the code when creating new listing. but there is one issue that image of a listing can only be uploaded after listing submission causing listing image can not show in FB post.

Now waiting for publish/unpublish on the front-end to work.

did you test on your site first? can you get it working?

yes, this is how jreview works. to create new listing from frontend. unpublish and publish from frontend too.

unpublish and then publish jreviews listing again in frontend will NOT trigger any auto post to FB
unpublish and then publish article again in backend article manager will trigger  auto post to FB

Joomla 3.8.3
Jreviews v2.7.22.0
JFBconnect  7.2.3

upgraded to 7.2.3 version of JFBConnect, still not working. Please test it.

Hi

I tested Jreivews listing auto posting to FB channel not working with object setup using default joomla article. When I created a new jreview listing and publish it. no FB post created in FB page. If I go to article manager, and manually unpublish and republish the article that was created by jreview. JFBconnect will post the article to FB page.

Please tell me how to get jreview listings auto post to FB channel.

please check to my private message

I just investigated further as to what's happening.

When JFBConnect tries to autopost content, we make a call to the front-end of the site to get the SEF version of the URL to be posted. However, that call is failing when being made from the admin area of your site.

When that call is made, it makes a request like:
index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=ajax.sef&url=aW5kZXgucGhwP29wdGlvbj1jb21fZWFzeWJsb2cmdmlldz1lbnRyeSZpZD05ODU=

If I go to that URL directly, it works. From the admin area making the call, it fails with the following error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /dev/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I'm not sure what's causing that as it seems like it may be a firewall or other server configuration issue not allowing the admin area to call the front-end of your site. Because that call is failing, the URL was just being the relative link.

I've made a change on your site which should generate a working URL including the domain. Please test and let me know if that works for you.

Thanks,
Alex

I can get the non-sef link working, but still don't know why SEF url not working. I tried to disable admintools to test, and SEF still not wroking. what else can I test to find out what causing SEF link not working?
