Blank Screen in the back end
Category: JFBConnect

What setting did you uncheck that's called 'connect with facebook'?

Was that in our settings area, or somewhere else in Joomla?
It was in jfb.

Sorry for mis-understanding, but again, I'm not sure what could be happening or why, and knowing exactly what you did, from what page(s) on your site, will help us to understand the problem more and hopefully provide a solution.
That's ok.

Is it possible to re-check whatever box you unchecked before?
I did before I posted the question and cleaned the cash but it's the same.

Can you go to the Extension Manager of Joomla and ensure that the JFBConnect Component is marked as 'Enabled'?
Yes, all but community builder are enabled.

Do you have any other super admin accounts on your site? If so, can you try logging in with one of them to see if they can get to the JFBConnect area?
Just did that but it's the same.

I do think that you are right. Some how it looks like a permission setting but I don't know how to reverse it.

Blank Screen in the back end
Category: JFBConnect

NO, only Jfb, I can't get to any of the JFB pages in the back end. I can get to all other coms without a problem.

It happened when I  just unchecked connect with facebook because it was impossible for me to log out and I wanted to get rid of the https redirect.

Adsense banners don't show up on the https pages
Category: JFBConnect

Unfortunately the trick doesn't work:
if ($query)
            $href .= '?' . $query;
        $href = str_replace('https', 'http', $href);
        return $href;

You can see it here if you click on fb comments tab:

any other options?

Adsense banners don't show up on the https pages

Now the problem is that the jfbcomments only show on https pages. How can I fix this?

Ok, I guess I have to reverse this again:

Adsense banners don't show up on the https pages

My home page has banners naturally. So should I enter the page of shop as the landing page instead of the home page?

Adsense banners don't show up on the https pages
Category: JFBConnect

My question is actually this:
Facebook requires an SSL certificate to load your site within a Facebook.com frame.
So is it necessary that my complete site is https or is it sufficient if only my shopping cart is SSL enabled?

I installed a ssl certificate to make the connection with facebook but now the banners don't show up on the https pages. Here is what google says about it:

Sign in with facebook gives a blank screen
Category: JFBConnect

I am not sure if this is a conflict but everything in the back end seems to be right but when a user clicks the button Sign in with facebook, the screen goes blank.

http://going-natural.com/going-natural- … twork.html

Please help.

I did what you said but it did not worked

so i corrected the issue by editing easytags.php file and i changed the code
if ($href)
              $commentString .= ' href="' . str_replace('https', 'http', $href) . '"';
        else if ($xid) //Use deprecated xid to keep old comments: http://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/472
            $commentString .= ' xid="' . $xid . '" migrated="1"';
            $url = SCSocialUtilities::getStrippedUrl();
            $commentString .= ' href="' . str_replace('https', 'http', $url) . '"';

Ok but that will not be the solution because as all the comments will go on http: after that change but suppose if user opens the website using https so no comment will be shown on that url because all comments will on http url

My website is http://going-natural.com/ and my website has both http and https enabled. so when user visits using https so jfb shows comments for https url only not for http and vice-versa. For example you can check the below given links both links are same except http and https. They should show comments from both https and http on each page.

I have a problem for a while now. The same facebook comments are showing on every page in jomsocial. Wether it's a picture or an event or a profile. How can I make sure that the comments that show are only the ones that are meant for that photo, profile or picture are shown?

Here is an example:

When I try to install the plugins manually I also get an error but that is the gzip error. I unzipped first but I still only get one tar file. Please help.
