Standard K2 Video Item much like their Standard Image. See here: http://www.mediastars.tv/Media-Talent/S … an-Wilkins
I guess I could disable the Comments in the settings then add a Comments module.
I'm using a custom K2 Template. Is there a way to move the K2 Comments below the video?
Also I'm assuming that I "could have" Social Tags for Like G+ LI above the video and comments after?
Thanks for the heads up!!! I'm really tempted to go play with it now...however, It's almost midnight here in Perth and wine and websites don't mix...
Forums, are ok though :-)
Congrats in advance on the upgrade launch!
Am checking out the features now in fact on the jfbconnect section of the site. Very Nice!
Definitely have a few uses for the subscribe and Request!
I'm assuming that we'll also see the new add to timeline, Activity Feed , Recommendations Bar etc etc, pretty quickly once they're out of beta?
Awesome job Alex!
Done. And also moved my "follow @" button to the K2 template so it won't get over written when I install the impending 4.1 release. :-)
In the K2 item view, I'm seeing
After the like/send div.
But...what I need instead is
For an example of why I need this, please see here: http://www.mediastars.tv/Media-Talent/A … Carl-White
Any hints on the easiest way to accomplish this? And not have it effect other areas?
Oh well....so I guess it's not coming tonight!
I need to update a site that I have the K2 likes entered into the template, along with the one click follow.
Am trying to avoid two separate updates to the site though so I guess I'm just being impatient!
No problem Alex, and I'm looking forward to the update!
Snuck in last night here in Australia, (Around 8 am your time) was gonna start bugging you...but then decided I'd wait until I wasn't under the influence of wine!
Now that I'm having some coffee and getting work done.....
To fix, I created an HTML Override for K2 and just had the "readmore" open in a new window.
Not a problem since the template is facebook only. Not sure why I didn't think of this earlier! Stupid me!
I have a landing page showing fine in a fB tab or Canvas, but it's a list of K2 Articles.
When they are clicked they revert back to the original template because they are a part of the normal website.
Anyway to have them show in a new window or keep the current template?
Very Cool thanks for the update!
Here's Hoping for Santa to bring me a "Social Box" like on Mashable....
Would be a nice Module add-on but don't remember if I put that in as a Feature request or not! (See "Subscribe To Mashable" on their home page!
Any news on the 4.1 timeline? Any ETA?
Hey just to chime in on this...you indeed can convert a profile to a page. All of your friends will become fans. However you'll lose your wall posts etc etc.
I'd vote for even just a simple module that pulls fB Events in!
No probs....right now it's on a zipped site sit but pretty sure it's coming from you.

LOL...yeah the Angry Birds example is it.
Basically it's one addition to the head of the document with the Google Publisher ID, that ties any Plus 1's on individual pages to the G+ Page account.
Then there's the option for adding an Add to circles with another call. Similar to how we were adding twitter integration before your latest additions.
I've already just tossed the Publisher ID into the a template and will probably add the "Add to Circle" into the content plug in by hand. Just haven't gotten to that point as yet.
And yes I completely understand where you're coming from as far as the longer term strategy with the social integration. Thankfully you've almost got all the "Main" channels covered already.
Currently Member Profile and Company Profile are hard coded at 350px. Any way to change that to a user defined setting in the modules?
Also, company ID is a little misleading. All it really is "is" the URL. I had to google that to find out. So Company URL (without Linkedin.com) would be a better description (I think anyway!).
Other than that am having no issues whatsoever!
With the recent release or G Plus for Pages, any chance of integrating it with the current feature set?
Seems like it would be relatively easy to toss in there.
Yeah I saw that, just haven't had time to try and implement. BTW...did you see the linked in Company Page Announcement?
"LinkedIn is excited to announce a powerful new feature for Company Pages—"Status Updates". "
