Hi Alex,

Sorry, I was being a complete tool!  current/sad I was being completely blind,so I created a copy of the default template and copied it into my site templates as per the instructions. I found the ".sourcecoast.modal .modal-title" line in the sourcecoast template and copied it over. Changed the css. Now it looks better.

Sorry,

Robert

Thanks for the information, but wouldn't it be better for you to develop the system so that within the actual configuration screen it could be easily changed? In the SClogin module, I can add intro text in the advanced option.

Thanks,

Robert

Also, Could you please point me in the right direction to change the SCLogin Title in the Modal Popup? I'm searching through the directories and the support forum, but cannot see where it gets changed. I've also used firebug with no luck.

Thanks,

Robert

Thanks for your help. I managed to come up with a workable solution based on your advice.

Robert

I've had to reload the site and managed to get it working with JV Framework. This is not the solution though and to Mel's and your suggestion to go to a third party to get your product working is quite frankly unreasonable. This is your module and you send your users to a site that shows how to set up a search bar using Modules Anywhere. Your instructions on your site are cryptic and don't explain the process. You should be including detailed instructions so that time isn't wasted.

Having said this, Gantry and JV Framework pops the box using the {module sclogin} placed in the title of the menu link. T3 Framework doesn't work and even after reinstalling T3 Framework Modules Anywhere and your package, 4 times I could not get it to work. Also the CSS styling is the same between Gantry and JV Framework and it looks awful.

Lastly, no one in this forum who is a user of your solution has the time to sift through the pages of suggestions to style the components. Is there a place in your documentation where it tells us where the css is for sclogin, the modal popup and all the other components? As an example, https://www.sourcecoast.com/sclogin/documentation/ it talks in general about themes, changelog and FAQ's, but who can guess where you can change styling? Am I missing something?

What is the appropriate file(s) to change as I have tried to find them and looked at this post, https://www.sourcecoast.com/forums/non- … nce#p49118 and the response from Mel points to a link that doesn't work. When she say's "Remove this block around line 88" from what file?

As you can tell, I'm losing patience, so would appreciate better assistance.

Thanks,

Robert

I believe the reason the  data-target attribute set is because it being loaded into using modules anywhere.

I tried placing the code you suggested into the templates css, but still nothing.

Thanks,

Robert

Please go to http://162.144.66.28/beuavsmart/

If you try the link in the menu it doesn't work and if you go to a page like typography in the side bar it pops up not doesn't look good. This is straight out of the box setup. Also the site is in development mode and optimize css is turned off

Thanks,

Robert

Thanks. I appreciate the information, but I have to say I am extremely frustrated with the documentation and finding updated information on fixing this almost to the point where I am considering not renewing my subscription.

Let me ask, what framework does sclogin work with without issues. I have been working with Gantry and there is always CSS issues, aligning anything to do with login. I gave up on that as it looked awful and am now using the T3 Framework. CSS is great, but if I try to login from the menu, the popup doesn't load. When I place the module in a sidebar, and go to another page, it loads and pops up. The only template it seems to work without any issues is the ones that come with Joomla.

I looked at a previous post dating back a while ago and looked for the !important to be removed in the all the css files and cannot find it.

Would appreciate if we could get this working. Feel like I am spinning my wheels.

Thanks,

Robert

Hello,

I am having a difficult time with SCLogin. I don't understand what you mean by this statement: "Simply select a Joomla menu item to display and the SCLogin module will show it in a fabulous way to your users after they're logged in. No need for a separate "Registered" menu module - have your logout area and user menu combined into one.

All I want to do is have a login button and register like you do on your site in the same area as the menu. I'm assuming that you have a "Login" in the main menu and somehow select SClogin to launch.

Can someone explain what needs to be done to use this correctly?

Thanks,
Robert

Hello,

Initially I installed only the JFBConnect Extension and was able to get Facebook, Twitter buttons on the registration page. Yesterday I installed JLinked and now the buttons have disappeared. Update: I ended up uninstalling JFBConnect to ensure it was not conflicting with any other plugin on my system. I reinstalled JFBConnect and everything worked again as it should. The login modal appeared with my Facebook and Twitter buttons. On my registration page Register with Facebook and Twitter appeared at the top just above the words, "User Registration". I then went to install JLinked. Right after that, I tested the Registration page. The Register with Facebook and Twitter Buttons were gone. Any Ideas??

Thanks,

Robert

Great! Appreciate the quick response.

Robert

Sorry Alex,

Don't I feel like an idiot!  current/sad  I was working with your modules all day and then started working with the other module and overlooked the fact that it wasn't yours.

Thanks,

Robert

I read in another post about Auto Publish and it looks like it is being considered. With such a great tool already, I am very surprised it is not already part of it considering the emphasis on Social Integration. Auto Publish There are many that already support it, so when is it likely to be a part of your solution?

Thanks,

Robert

Hello Alex,

If you go to fci.eyecandyvi.com and in the centre you'll see connect with us. if you hover over all the icons it displays the title, but Houzz does not.

Thanks,

Robert

On the all of the included icons, when you onhover the image it displays the name of the the particular button. On the custom icon there is no place to set the title, so onhover doesn't work. So the question is where do can you set the title and if you can, when will you be adding a title field?

Thanks,

Robert

Resolved it by reinstalling the extension.

Thanks, but that doesn't work. I have it enable to show up at the top See attached image.

Thanks,

Robert

Has anyone been able to get this working without editing the default.php file? It should look something like this http://www.sourcecoast.com/register but I cannot find the setting. I'm using v.5.2.2

Thanks,

Robert

Additional: I used the tag "{JFBCLogin}" as suggested in another post and I get the word "medium" to the left of the icon. I cannot find where this word is coming from. please see image.
