Fixed, there was a problem with my template where I converted it from joomla 1.0 to 1.5. However there was some code that was never converted and as a result cause this problem.
The issue is fixed now, thanks for the assistance.

Sorry for the bother... ended up fixing the issue by myself. In case anyone else runs in to the same issue, I noticed that the line calling mootools was wrong in the template that I am using:Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/media/system/js/mootools.js"></script>Changed to:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="media/system/js/mootools.js"></script>just removing the preceding forward slash, so that it could actually find the script.
Thanks,
Ayton
Hi Ayton,
Can you recall what file you modified to remove the forward slash, I'm experiencing a similar issue with custom template I am working where the facebook connect button shows up on the Japurity template but will not on my custom template. My template had a second call for a mootool script which I removed however the result is the same.
Hi I'm having a problem such as this but only experience it with my custom template.
Using the Joomla default templates such as JaPurity the Facebook Connect button shows up. I have inspected the code (using FireBug) surrounding the module and found that the fb:login-button shows up faded.

Is there something missing from my template why this is happening?
Thanks for that, appreciate the response.
When a user has registered and is logged into the site using JFBConnect they are not listed as online. <!-- s:ugeek: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_ugeek.gif" alt=":ugeek:" title="Uber Geek" /><!-- s:ugeek: -->

I have sent you a PM
I am using version 2.0 stable and I noticed on the demo site that when the FBConnect button is clicked it launches an AJAX window. What version is that available in?
Currently I get a normal pop up window
