I renamed the helper.php file in my root dir, (added -backup to the file) since you said it wasn't necessary.  After changing the name of the file, the page loaded correctly.  I guess I can delete it.  It must have been left over from a previous install of Joomla. Thanks very much for your help!  Great support and products!

Brian

Actually, I did get the error again on my new Joomla install:  This appears when I enable the sendy plugin from JFB  Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JUserHelper in /home/brianr/public_html/helper.php on line 27

Joomla! 3.4.5

When I enable the Sendy Subscription Module, I get this error:  Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JUserHelper

Otherwise everything is working well with Sendy.  I can use the subscribe form Sendy creates.  I have one userlist.

The SCLogin module is working well, and new users from are being added to the correct Sendy list.

Where are update instructions on your site?  I'm getting this error:  Strict Standards: Declaration of JFBConnectProfileDataProxy::bindData() should be compatible with Joomla\Registry\Registry

I just renewed my subscription, downloaded 6.3.0 but don't see update instructions on your site.  I don't want to rewrite my settings by just installing the component again.

Thanks very much for the info.   I used an old app and it worked great! Thanks! current/big_smile

I'm very impressed with your work and amazing support.  Are you interested in custom development work?

Thanks

Hello.  I have everything working great on my J 3.2 site, but also have a subdomain that I must use for now that runs J 1.5.  I've set everything up and created a new FB app, autotuned and not getting any errors.  The app is live and when I click login with Facebook on the module, I see the popup, but the user doesn't get logged in.  Any suggestions?

The subdomain is http://www.speak.watchthinkvote.com.  I can give you admin access if you would like.

Do I need to purchase a 2nd license?

Thanks
Brian

Thanks for your help.  I moved the module to the upper left of http://www.watchthinkvote.com in the blue bar.  I set it to modal.  It does work on this page:  http://www.watchthinkvote.com/contact

Thanks
Brian

Modal works only on 2 pages on my site.  If I click "register" on the module, then login, it works.  If I click "contact us" and it goes to the Joomla contact form it works.  Otherwise it doesn't work.  I tried disabling all other modules and plugins on the site and get the same result.

I'm using Yootheme and Widgetkit. J 3.2.3 and JFB 6.0.3

When it's not working I see #login-modal in the URL

The site is http://www.watchthinkvote.com

Thanks

Can I get the FB comments to display correctly on mobile without using the EasyTags?  I have comments enabled in config.    I found this in the forum, but it didn't work:  .fb-comments, .fb-comments iframe[style] {width: 100% !important;}

Hey Alex.  I've gone over all the Facebook guidelines and some things are not behaving the way they say they should.  Even though my images are in the 1.91:1 aspect ratio, they end up square and cropped on shares and comments.  I read that is FB thinks your thumbnail image is less than 560 x 292 pix it will resize them to 100 x 72.  My images are much larger than the 500 x 292.  My question is:  Does JFB do any resizing or create thumbnails that are separate from the image linked to the OG tags?  Could FB be seeing some resized image created by Joomla or JFB?

I've figured out a work around to the image being cropped square on the timeline and rectangular on the newsfeed.  I made a square image and it is now cropped on the newsfeed and looks ok on the timeline. I can edit the image so it looks ok cropped on the newsfeed.  Attached are additional screen shots. If you have any information on how I can get  large rectangular images on both the news feed and timeline I would greatly appreciate your help.

By the way, this page is located here:  http://www.watchthinkvote.com/consensus … ing-rights
The facebook posts are coming from a comment on the page.

Do you know what this is: Meta with name instead of property

Thanks for the info.  So, that bad tag is coming from some other component in Joomla, and nothing related to my page tags and SourceCoast?

I changed the URL on that page, that is why you got the 404, but that issue is resolved.

Do you know why my image would appear as a cropped square version on the Timeline but works correctly on the Newsfeed?  I am using custom page overrides.  Here they are:

{SCOpenGraph title=WatchThinkVote Builds Consensus Around Voting Rights}
{SCOpenGraph url=http://www.watchthinkvote.com/consensus-building/voting-rights}
{SCOpenGraph site_name=WatchThinkVote}
{SCOpenGraph description=Are voting rights under attack, or is there massive fraud that needs to be corrected?}
{SCOpenGraph image=http://watchthinkvote.com/images/voting-rights.jpg}
{SCOpenGraph article:author=https://www.facebook.com/rembrandt01}
{SCOpenGraph article:publisher=https://www.facebook.com/WatchThinkVote?bookmark_t=page}

I'm attaching screen shots of each for you

Do you know what this is: Meta with name instead of property
Category: JFBConnect

Do you understand what Facebook is telling me here:  Meta with name instead of property: The meta tag on the page was specified with name 'author', which matches a configured property of this object type. It will be ignored unless specified with the meta property attribute instead of the meta name attribute.

I had an additional plugin installed.  Simple Facebook Meta

Can you help me figure out why I'm seeing this in the debug tool:

Object at URL 'http://www.watchthinkvote.com/select-a-topic/voting-rights' of type 'article' is invalid because it specifies multiple 'og:url' values: http://www.watchthinkvote.com/select-a- … ing-rights, http://www.watchthinkvote.com/select-a- … ng-rights.
