I posted a new release of Version Verification Tool which has added support for 2.5.7, 3.0.0 and 3.0.1. Sorry for the delay :)

Just updated the Version Verification Tool for Joomla 2.5.8 and all previous 2.5.x versions.

Finally, if you use Version Verification Tool, please leave a rating and review on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:

I get the same problem as above and the JED listing doesn't mention 2.5.8 - if this great tool has been updated to include that, perhaps it's worth updatin the JED too.

Thanks too - it's a really useful extension (I was the first to review on the JED)!
