Hi - The Sendy module is really great - just wondering if there's a way to add the "name" field to the signup form along with the existing email address field?

Thanks!

Not yet. We are working on an update to another product and then will be adding the Name field to the signup module and register plugins. We'll also be adding more documentation and other things over the course of this month.

The Sendy extension is definitely still very 'new' and while you shouldn't run into many (hopefully any) bugs, there's definitely more features to add. So far though, we've been very happy with the response. We're planning to actually create a blog post and start 'announcing' it soon to draw in more users, which will help feed development as well. We definitely appreciate the feedback, and will hopefully get (at least) the name field in soon. If you have any other suggestions, definitely let us know!

Finally, please consider leaving a rating and review for Sendy, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex

Great - thanks for the feedback. Current version worked flawlessly and didn't encounter any issues. Looking forward to the update that includes name field.

Going to wait for the updated version before posting an extensions directory review ;)

Cheers

Hi Alex,
In addition to the name field, while you are at it, it would be good to just allow the administrator to select the fields assigned to the list (including custom fields) - I use first and last name so I can greet people by their first name...

Looking forward to the next instalment!

Cheers,
Matthew
