Show user menu not working when set to Dropdown (was working before!)

Show user menu not working when set to Dropdown (was working before!)

I had the User menu working okay as a dropdown on SCLogin module after the user logged in. Now what happens is that the menu button is showing but if you click it al that happens is it re-loads the current page. If I set it to 'List' rather than 'Dropdown' it works - plus as I mentioned it was working before as a Dropdown.

Not sure if it has stopped working since an update of SCLogin or some other change on my website but any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Show user menu not working when set to Dropdown (was working before!)

Buzzy,
Can you tell me what site to test on? I see a few sites listed in Autotune.

Also, is the dropdown working on other sites? That would be a good test as well.

Thanks,
Alex

The site is www.buzzytantra.com but I also tested on www.quintasensual.org and see the same.   I have created a test login on quintasensual.org/login which you can use if required

Re: Show user menu not working when set to Dropdown (was working before!)

Buzzy,
We think we've found the cause of the issues in the drop-down menu. Can you please download the file below and copy to your Joomla site over the /media/sourcecoast/js/jq-bootstrap-1.8.3.js file?
http://www.sourcecoast.com/media/source … p-1.8.3.js

To save that, right click on it and do "Save As" to save to your computer and then upload to your system. After you upload, please clear your browser cache to make sure the file is properly re-loaded when testing.

This fix is expected in the SCLogin module release, due out later this week, so we'd love to have your feedback on it.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for that. I can confirm using that update fixes the problem.

Re: Show user menu not working when set to Dropdown (was working before!)

Glad to hear that works for you. We actually detected that it causes some minor issues in the admin area of Joomla 3.x when configuring JFBConnect. We'll be working those issues out and releasing the overall fix with the new release later this week.

Thanks for the feedback, and glad we got you going,
Alex
