Hello,

I have been experiencing an issue with SClogin, where users get redirected after login into the system, to an incorrect url. Despite selecting the correct page in the settings of the module.

Could you let me know a specific URL to see this behavior in action? What value did you set in the module for 'Joomla Login Redirection URL' (e.g. what URL is that menu item pointing to?)

Thanks you for your quick response.

I can provide you with the URL, it is at gemmaquinnells.co.uk/ login button is at top right hand corner of the page.

Within the module I have selected a menu item called "Home" under a separate menu called "Students"

How can I forward you login details without others seeing them?

Looking at your site, the login form is pointing just to index.php?Itemid=741. This would explain why it would be going to the main page. If you want to send me credentials, you can send me a private message using the envelope icon under my avatar. It might be more helpful to see the settings and how you're menus are set up. If you can take screenshots/send more details on that, or send backend credentials instead, that would help.

Thank you for the credentials.

Nothing seems out of the ordinary that I saw in the backend. When I attempted to log in on the front-end, it brought me to gemmaquinnells.co.uk//index.php?Itemid=741. If you notice, there's an extra slash in the URL. If I change it to gemmaquinnells.co.uk/index.php?Itemid=741 then the page properly goes to the Student Home page area. Do you have any SEO extensions/settings that you've configured that could possibly cause this?

Also, you had the 'System - Page Cache' plugin enabled and it was preventing me from logging in on the front-end. This plugin should not be enabled on a site that requires authentication, so I've disabled it.

Thanks for your support,

As far as I am aware the only SEO plugins i'm using is JCH Optimize and JCC.

So I don't know if these are causing the issue but I will see what I can do to try and remove the extra slash in the url.

Edit: I found out what the problem was, there was incorrect configuration with Joomdle in Moodle.

Again thanks for your time and effort in helping me in resolving this issue.
