Hello,
By any chance would you know how to suppress the "login successful" system message that appears after logging in? I know it's a joomla function, but I figured you must be thoroughly familiar with the management of the whole core login/logout process. I'd rather not just hide the whole system message div via a css style, but really would like to override the generation of that message itself.
I'd appreciate any advice you would have.

Chris,
My best suggestion would to be to go into the Joomla -> Language Manager -> Overrides and search for the string you want to alter. Then, set the string to blank. I think that should work. If not, you may need to alter the com_users code to prevent that string from showing.. which isn't as much fun or recommended if not necessary.
