I recently installed JomSocial 3.1 and am using JLinked 2.2. As per the attached screenshot, how do I install JomSocial into the JLinked Extension Check?

JLinked won't install plugins for extensions you don't have installed to try to make things a little cleaner on your site.

The JomSocial plugin is available in the JLinked installation package. The easiest way to install it is simply re-install JLinked. JomSocial will be detected and the appropriate plugins will be installed.

So, if I'm understanding correctly, it just didn't install because we hadn't installed JomSocial yet when we installed JLinked? It just detects what is already installed, and adds the correct plugins?

Yup, you got it. If JomSocial is installed now, just re-install JLinked and the Social Profile - JomSocial plugin will appear in your Plugin manager.
