On the home page for Jlinked in the 3rd Party integrations area is lists ZOO as one of the Joomla components Jlinked integrates with. So far I can't get any Apply button to show up in ZOO items. I've tried a Text Area with Jlinked code, I've tried loading a Jlinked module into a ZOO item text area and I've tried a ZOO Joomla module. The area shows up in the ZOO item where the Apply Button should be but the area is blank?

Is there a special ZOO plugin needed? Is there another way to integrate this?

When the content area is blank in a module or our tag, it usually means that LinkedIn is intentionally hiding the content. They only do that when your LinkedIn Application setting for the "Javascript API Domain". Please make sure you've entered that setting properly for your site, so that if your site is www.sourcecoast.com, you enter the value for the API Domain as:

sourcecoast.com/,http://www.sourcecoast.com/

That will work for both the www and non-www version of your site.

If that doesn't help, please let me know a URL where you've implemented the LinkedIn widgets so we can see what's happening. Usually, when we see a page, we can diagnose the problem pretty quickly.
