Hey Guys you are using companyid= in the input code i get this which if the website doesnt have one you can override with just plain text

companyid=HELLO

but not two words without - or something inbetween the words. can we get the companyname= field on the go like in the linkedin apply documentation.
also your button wont show without the id but its not a required field for the linkedin button

We're looking into this. I'm passing it off to the dev that created the tags for those fields to see if we're being over-strict on the required settings as well as if we can be more lenient with things like Company Name.

LinkedIn has made minor improvements to the widgets recently, and it's possible we just missed some of these changes. They used to be very strict with formatting and values...

We'll let you know what we find,
Alex

Just wanted to circle back around on this. We've done a bit of investigation, and have good and (possibly) bad news.

First off, we've updated the Apply button to work with a custom company name and will be included in the next release. We also tried doing the same for some of the other widgets, but they don't work with those. There is a way to do a real-time lookup (search) based on a name to retrieve the actual Company ID and use that.. however, that lookup is not quick and not something we'd implement due to performance concerns.

Hope that helps. If you need a solution 'now', just let us know and we can post the necessary code change. Otherwise, just wait a little bit for the next release.

Thanks,
Alex
