Pull Linkedin profile pic for use elsewhere on site?

If you enable Social Profiles - Community Builder plugin, you can configure how the user's information is imported into CB. From there, CB can display the avatar wherever you'd like and should work just like any other Joomla user.

Once enabled, the settings for our plugins will show up in the JLinked -> Profiles configuration area. Please go there to configure how the user's profile is imported into Community Builder.

CB plugin is listed as not installed, even though it is.

Are you seeing a tab named "communitybuilder", or is there no tab at all? If there is a tab, can you tell me what message is shown inside it? That will narrow things down.

In general, the Social Profiles - Community Builder plugin must be published for the tab to show. Once the tab is there, the plugin will check to see if Community Builder is installed and detected. If not, you'll see a message saying that CB isn't detected.

Very sorry for the delayed response. I had a chance to get in and test on your site. The reason you were having issues is because CB is setup with some Required fields that weren't being pulled into or filled out by the user during registration. I changed the setting in the JLinked -> Profiles area for "Show Profile Fields:" to "Required Only". That showed the required fields that I had to enter on registration, and allowed CB to properly save the user. Without those fields, since they were required, CB was rejecting the user.

Please test again and let me know if you run into any other issues, but hopefully you're good to go from here.
