LinkedIn connect from login module results in 'No input file specified

i have moved my site from sandbox (where everything worked fine) to production site with SSL / https installed and am running into issue that when someone is logged in and modules asks to connect this site to social netwerk. when user clicks the linkedin button he gets blank page with message 'No input file specified.'
any clue?

btw just to add. the other Jlinked features like links to profiles and company page with 'follow' button are working correctly. also the SC login module works fine with modal and all

using 'Login with LinkedIn' from the modal pop up also results in the error

hi Alex, the problem has been solved... Had nothing to do with SC component or modules. Some dodgy redirect caused /index.php to redirect to a specific page on the site. All (ajax) calls to index.php got messed up becaus of that. Solved now.
