Just getting JLinked installed and trying to import a few fields into Kunena, such as avatar, location, LinkedIn URL. I have the mappings set in the Component "Profiles" tab. Requesting "r_fullprofile" in configuration.

Log in works and i get the "allow LinkedIn to provide your full profile" dialog, and can successfully log in, but I find no avatar nor fields in my Kunena profile.

Kunena is 2.0.2, is that supported? Any other settings I'm missing?

That version of Kunena should definitely work with JLinked. For the Avatar, can you check that you don't have Kunena configured to work with Gravatar images? If so, our imported image just won't be used as Gravatar will take precedence.

Not sure why the profile won't import, but lets work on the avatar first as that will help narrow down why fields aren't importing once we get that going.

I deleted my previous User record and started over and it worked great.

I didn't have a Gravitar plug-in but I found "Use Avatars Gallery" in Kunena and set it = no. But I think it was a collision with the previous user record. I was having trouble getting "the username and email are already in use" error message so deleting the record got me going. Thanks for the pointers!

Very glad to hear we helped narrow things down for you and that you figured out some other stuff. Not sure why the collision was happening, JLinked should be aware of that and prevent problems with the same username.

Either way though, keep testing, and if you run into other issues, just let us know.
