Hi,
Looks like a great pair of plugins. Thanks.

I am trying to achieve a register sequence as follows for both JFBC and Jlinked. I had it working this way with the OneAll social login solution, but I don't like their offsite processing, back linking and lack of profile import etc. Can you confirm what I need to change:

User clicks either button > email already registered, account linking happens automatically > user is logged in with one click
User clicks ether button > email not found, diverted straight to JSPT Select profile type screen > Selects profile type > sent to JSocial complete profile stage 2 where information is prepopulated from FB or linkedin > user checks and changes any information necessary and completes registration.

Can you confirm this is possible?

Ahh.. I've just been reading through old forum posts on this issue and i see while you were looking at integrating with JPST back in March it appears not to have happened. Can you confirm?

If so, this is a bit of a showstopper for me unfortunately (because I like your solution the best so far). JPST provides the seemingly essential ACL control for integration with payplans and other subscription systems. Jomsocial themselves in fact recommend JPST to those needing more ACL. Leads to a bit of a catch22 I guess: jomsocial is perfect for subscription sites > subscriptions sites need payplans or AEC > Payplans or AEC need JPST for ACL > JFBC/Jlinked and JPST don't play = JFBC and Jlinked are not a good solution for subscription sites. Do have this right? Sorry if I've missed something obvious.

We don't currently support the JSPT extension. It is something we always have goals to look into, but just haven't had the time. So, from the 2 scenarios you mention, here's how we'd work:

User clicks either button > email already registered, account linking happens automatically > user is logged in with one click

Yup, we'd do that without any issue using the "Automatically link users by email" setting.

User clicks ether button > email not found, diverted straight to JSPT Select profile type screen > Selects profile type > sent to JSocial complete profile stage 2 where information is prepopulated from FB or linkedin > user checks and changes any information necessary and completes registration.

No, we wouldn't support that. JFBConnect/JLinked supports the built-in multiprofile system of JomSocial, but does not support JSPT.

With that said, PayPlans actually already has integration with JFBConnect, so I wouldn't say we're not a good solution for subscription sites at all.. just the very specific combination you're dealing with. There are many, many users that use JFBConnect with PayPlans, and we're currently considering moving to PayPlans ourselves. We don't currently support a registration path with JSPT though, and that may cause you issues if that's necessary for you.
