Alex,

Your test sample is used in a Joomla article right?

We are here using/testing it inside a Joomla custom HTML module!

Think that's the main difference!

Further we are using the rocket theme template Clarion, any known problems with that template perhaps?

gjr,
The test on that page is using a Custom HTML module. The "Test Apply" title is the module title and the tag was inserted into the Custom HTML area. Does the Apply button work when you use the Apply Module? If so, you can try to put it in that sidebar after the Custom HTML module and simply disable the title. That may work, though shouldn't be necessary.

As for problems with that specific template, we don't know of any. We've had issues with some template providers for various reasons in the past. However, we don't know of any with the RocketTheme templates right now, and most issues in the past have *not* been with the tag replacement stuff.

Hope that helps. Curious to know if the module works.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

We activated the module on the sidebar, this displays the button correctly. The tag is displayed correctly now, the module is still hidden. It is solved, however not the way it should be working.

We still have the issue on the homepage, activating the module there did not help. Below the button "upload jouw gegevens direct aan ons" should appear a LinkedIN Apply button.

Glad to hear the Apply module worked. The way that module works though is to simply insert the {JLinkedApply ...} tag into your page and then the JLinked System plugin will later translate it. There isn't, or shouldn't be, any difference between you adding it manually or using that module.

Can you do 2 things and let me know what happens:
1) Disable the JLinkedSystem plugin. Go to the page with the JLinkedApply *module* and see what tag it's inserting. See if it's different than what you're putting in the Custom HTML module and even try updating the Custom module with that tag. Re-enable the System plugin.
2) Did you ever test with a different template? Since modules can have template overrides, all I can think is that your current template is overriding the default Custom HTML module in a way that's causing problems.
3) This is the first time you mentioned the issue on the homepage. Are you using a Custom HTML module there, or inserting the code in an article or elsewhere?

Thanks,
Alex
