Installation Issues

I am using the SCLogin on a Joomla 2.5.4 site using a Rockettheme template.

SCLogin's "Login with Linkedin" button has effectively called the Linkedin web page several times for me to confirm permission to share my profile. I generally do not see a confirmation that I am registered; however, one time I when I was returned to the web page and clicked on the regular login button, I did immediately see such a confirmation message, which said I was registered via Linkedin. That time I was added by SCLogin to the JLinked "User Map" and to the list of users in Jomsocial. Initially, no profile data was added by SCLogin to Jomsocial, apart from my Joomla user name and email address, which I believed were imported from Joomla rather than LinkedIn.

Later, only when I changed the settings so that the imported profile data was displayed, some LinkedIn data was imported.

I tried logging in via Linkedin using three different Linkedin user accounts. As I said above, I was successful only once out of several tries, and I was surprised each time.

It is a new installation on a new Joomla 2.5.4 site. I would welcome any suggestions.

Obviously, something's not right. Can you check the following:
1) The JLinked Authentication, System, and User plugins are published and set to 'Public' access.
2) Try re-arranging the 3 plugins above so that they are at the top of their ordering. Being the first ones to trigger helps ensure that other plugins aren't conflicting.

If that doesn't work, please post (or Private Message) the URL of your site, and we can investigate further by looking at just the front-end to see if there are any obvious configuration problems.

Thanks,
Alex
