Stuart,
The LinkedIn button is 'on' by default when you enable the Content plugin. The other social network buttons are optional. I can see how that's confusing though.

As for your issue, if the button doesn't show, it's likely that your Javascript or Integration Domain settings in your LinkedIn application aren't correct. Check that the URL's you enter there are exactly right for your site, including (or excluding) the www. If you can access your site at both www.site.com and just site.com (non-www), you'll need to setup a redirect from one to the other. Otherwise, LinkedIn will think both URLs are different sites, and some of the social features won't work on one of them.

Hope that makes sense. If that doesn't seem to help, please post (or Private Message) a link to your site and we can investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

I'm having the same problem. I went to Linked in and checked the links to my web site were correct.

The Integration URL is set to www.spikesantee.com/

The Javascript API Domain is set to http;//www.spikesantee.com/ and spikesantee.com as the Source Coast configuration guide suggests. Maybe I misunderstand this.

I have a redirect from spikesantee.com to www.spikesantee.com set up on my hosting account.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Spike

Spike,
I cant access your page right now. I;m getting a redirect loop error. I think your redirection to www is causing issues...

As for the Share button, if you just upgraded to JFBC v4.2 and JLinked v1.s, that's why. There's a bug were working on fixing when both of the new releases are installed. If you haven't upgraded yet.. you may want to wait a few days for the updated .1 releases. In that case, also, let us know when you fix the redirect issue and we can take a look at your current page to see what might be wrong with the older release.

Thanks,
Alex

Site works now (phew). Sorry for the Share button issue. We'll likely be rolling out the .1 releases of JFBConnect and JLinked early next week that should fix this issue, and a few other very minor issues. If a critical bug comes up before then, we'll release sooner.

If this happens to be critical to you (you rely on the Share button), let us know. There are some code changes we can provide to get it going right now, if necessary.

Thanks,
Alex

We're shooting to have the updated versions of JFBConnect and JLinked out this Wednesday. At that point, we'll also be sending out a newsletter letting the world know about the new release.

Stuart,
I don't think the updates will fix your issue. The only problem we know about with the LinkedIn Share button is that it won't appear if you are using both JFBConnect and JLinked on your site. If you're not using JFBConnect, that's not your issue. If so, please test with the different domains (as mentioned above) and/or let us know the URL of a page that isn't working so we can investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex
