Jase,
First, make sure you've enabled the JLinked Authentication, System, and User plugins.
Then, if you have any SEF extensions installed, please try disabling them and see if that improves the situation.
If not, go to the Global Configuration area of Joomla and set "Error Reporting" to maximum and turn GZip compression off. See if you get a better error message on that page. If so, let us know what it is.
