i can connect an existing, logged in user to a linkedin user

but i am not able to create a new user in joomla from a linkedin user, in either case of the linkedin user being logged in to LI or after signing in via the LI authentication page.

just goes to this page on my test/dev site: tube.chloregy.com/index.php/component/jl.../?view=loginregister

i'm just using the plain joomla 1.7 reg process with email verification, is there something extra which I am forgetting?

Also, any idea why the FB button is showing up on that page, and not on the index page module (on right side below the front page main content)?

I can't go directly to that page without already having authenticated with LinkedIn for your site. JLinked will redirect to the homepage if you try to go to that page without haven't already authenticated. Can you link to a page that shows the Login With LinkedIn button, so that I can actually try to go through the registration process normally?

As for the FB Button, that will automatically show on that Login/Register page if JFBConnect is detected. It allows users to connect to an existing account on the site by logging in through Facebook. I can't see any mode on the right side of the main page. I just see a message that says "Stay tuned, Chloregy will be back in a flash..."

you need to go to tube.chloregy.com that is the test server otherwise www gets redirected to the unbounce page

Dominik,
I'm not sure what's going on, but something in your template is preventing our component from displaying. If I view the loginregister page with a different template, it shows just fine:
tube.chloregy.com/index.php?option=com_j...ister&template=beez5
tube.chloregy.com/index.php?option=com_j...ster&template=atomic

Is there any reason that your template would not be showing the main component area from specific components (like JLinked)?

Hope that helps get you started on narrowing down what's going wrong,

yes, there would be. i had checked that the main content body was showing up for those pages but it seems i missed something.
