You can't just send a user directly to that page. They need to have already authenticated with LinkedIn for that page to work, as we pull information about the user from LinkedIn to prepopulate some of the fields and information on that page. If they get there without already authenticating, there's no method for them to authenticate through LinkedIn, which would cause other problems.

For standard Joomla registrations, you should use Joomla's built in process.

No, you really shouldn't do that. That page expects that the user has already clicked the "Login with LinkedIn" button and approved your website for using their LinkedIn account. If they go directly to that page without authenticating through LinkedIn, JLinked should automatically redirect them to the home page because it won't be able to get any information about that user from LinkedIn. If you removed the User Mapping for your existing user, that page -will- work, simply because you've already authenticated through LinkedIn. Other users will be very confused and will not be able to register.

Hope that makes sense. To test what I mean, log out at LinkedIn.com and try going directly to that page loginregister page on your site. It will simply redirect you to the home page.
